My Story
Growing up my childhood was unique. In any living situation I experienced some good, some bad, and some ugly.
When I was approx 6 years of age my parents divorced. At the time all I knew was that they fought a lot and it was a very dysfunctional home.
It was my neighbor Michelle Rowe who was a teacher who always had my sister and I over to her house to play. I remember her planning tea parties, camping in the backyard and teaching me how to play tennis and going to track meets.
She had a nephew who was around my age and although Michelle never had children of her own when I was living by her I knew she would make a great mom and most definatly a great teacher.
I'd like to think it was her help through the tough times in my childhood and many other factors that helped develop my love for children and teaching.
I have many positive memories with this woman and I only wish she could know how much she inspired me.
It is my goal to touch lives the way she has touched mine.
This blog is a way to show the world my creativity in the classroom and home setting to give back the way she gave to me.
Enjoy !
